Have a read of this review from one of those upmarket sofa retailers. What an unpleasant experience the customer had. They took a day off work for their sofa delivery window. The sofa delivery never arrived. No phone call to say why, the customer had to ring up and ask what the delay was. Again, promised it was out for delivery that evening. It wasn’t it was still sat in a warehouse somewhere.
Customer very upset tried to cancel the order and request a refund. Told it would take several weeks for a refund. Cancellation went through and then was told again sofa was out for delivery after being assured the cancellation (and pending refund) was processed.

You wouldn’t get that kind of service at Alec’s. We stick to our delivery windows of 2-3 hours and our delivery lads’ phone you 30 mins before they arrive. If for any reason they were to be late. We would telephone you with an update. Communication is key, wouldn’t you agree?
